Watercolor Fundamentals
A live, two-day online workshop that takes you from your first wash to a finished painting. Small group, real-time feedback, beginner-friendly.
Two days that change how you see color
Watercolor is about letting go and guiding at the same time. This workshop teaches you the core techniques — washes, blending, layering — through short demonstrations followed by guided practice. You'll paint alongside the instructor, ask questions in real time, and leave with a finished piece and the confidence to keep going.
No experience needed. Just gather the materials from the list below, join the Zoom call, and we'll handle the rest.
Four core techniques
Each technique is demonstrated live, then you practice with real-time guidance. By the end you'll combine all four in a finished painting.
Washes & Gradients
Flat, graded, and variegated washes — the foundation of every watercolor painting.
Color Mixing & Theory
Build a working palette, mix clean secondary colors, and avoid muddy combinations.
Brush Techniques
Wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, lifting, splattering, and controlled edges for expressive marks.
Layering & Depth
Glazing transparent layers to create luminosity, depth, and rich tonal contrast.

Learn from a practicing artist
Your instructor is a professional watercolorist with over a decade of teaching experience. They've exhibited in galleries across India and specialize in making complex techniques approachable for beginners.
The teaching style is hands-on and patient — every question gets answered, and no one is left behind. You'll paint together, step by step, and the small group size means you get individual feedback on your work throughout both sessions.
